Programme Delivery Manager
Hello, my name is Emilia Betteridge, I joined Health Education Derbyshire in July 2022. My background has primarily been working in project delivery roles within the health and beauty retail industry, I also spent a number of years working in HR and Learning and Development, where I was able to support people’s development and career progression, which I am very passionate about.
Like most people, life outside of work tends to be busy, I am married with two young children, my son is 4 years old and my daughter is 2. I love to travel and explore new places and I look forward to doing more of this again as our children get older. I enjoy cooking and hosting dinner for friends and family at weekends. I also have a real interest in all things interior design, although having lived through two house renovation projects with young children, I am happy to have a break from the dust and mess for the foreseeable.

GPN Champion
Hi, my name is Amy,
I started working at HED in December 2022 as a GPN Champion. My role involves working with HEIs and General Practices to offer support for students whilst on placement. I am going to be assisting in the SSSA programme and ensuring professionals in Primary Care can support student nurses. I am working to promote General Practice Nursing as a highly skilled profession and break down the stigma that Primary Care is a place you go to work when you are ready to retire!
My background is I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2018 from the University of Nottingham and started working as a Practice Nurse in 2019. I love my job as a Practice Nurse, and I am currently working towards expanding my knowledge in Chronic Disease Management and hoping to specialise in Diabetes.
In my free time, I enjoy a cosy night in with my two cats, Elvis, and Thea. I love spending time with my family and friends and clothes shopping is my guilty pleasure!
