Both data and leadership skills are essential for NHS employees across all roles. The NHS Data Citizen programme is designed to develop both these skill sets. Over 13 months, learners will complete the NHS Leadership Academy Edward Jenner programme to develop the essential leadership skills that NHS professionals need, combined with the Cambridge Spark Data Essentials Certificate to develop a data-driven mindset.

This is for anyone who:
- Wants to build their confidence and technical skills to work with data effectively
- Is familiar working with spreadsheets but who can create more value from data
- Wants to learn the skills to enable progression into more data-driven roles
- Wants to create insightful visualisations and be able to communicate confidently

- The Value of Data
- Data Concepts
- Data Sourcing & Integration in Excel
- Data Preparation, Quality & Validation
- Excel for Data Analysis
- Charts and Data Visualisation in Excel
- Storytelling & Presenting with Data
- Data Storage Compliance & Security
- Introduction to Coding

Entry Requirements:
- Be using data as part of role
- Level 2 English and maths (can be gained as part of the programme)
- Working minimum 30 hours a week
- Committed to 1 day a week live sessions
