Nursing Associate is a stand-alone role as well as also providing a route to Registered Nurse. Nursing associates are trained to work with people of all ages and across all four fields of nursing: adult, child, mental health and learning disability.
Duration: Approx 2 years
Employed a minimum of 30 hours a week

Entry requirements:
To complete the nursing associate apprenticeship you will need to have 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent by the time you finish, you can complete these on the apprenticeship.
You may also have Level 2/3 Health and Social Care qualifications.
You will also need to have completed the care certificate.
