Credits from your Nursing Associate Foundation Degree can be carried over meaning the course will last around 18 months. There will be no charge to the practice for this course as it will be funded via gifted levy through HED partnerships.
As part of the government’s pledge to provide 50,000 nurses by 2024, HEE are offering £8,300 per year as a support package for practices to help with the costs of releasing for placements, staff training etc.
This is currently limited to the March 2022 applicants, and it is unlikely that financial support will be in place for any additional cohorts.
If you are/have someone who is wanting to become a registered GPN through this route, now is the time to apply.
